If you have wanted to get LASIK done, now might be the perfect time.  Davis Vision just let me know they are doing another awesome Valentine’s Deal for LASIK!

LASIK was something I wanted to do for years but thought I never could because I heard this myth that I had to wait until I was done having kids. But that’s totally not true!  So in September, I finally got LASIK done at Davis Vision and it was awesome!!  And, they were awesome.  I haven’t had any issues, my sight is amazing and I’m finally contact free!  I’ve actually adjusted so quickly, I can’t even remember what it is like having to wear contacts.  I can’t wait for this summer with swimming or boating.  It’s really going to be life changing!  Oh and just a quick FYI-  After my procedure, I was seeing 20/30 24 hours later.  Within 2 days, I was seeing 20/15–which is better than perfect vision!

With that all said, feel free to head over and watch my actual LASIK procedure.  I videotaped it for all of you so you could see the process.  And if you don’t want to watch the actual surgery, you can fast forward through that part. 😉

(If you can’t see this video in your email or RSS feed, head here to watch it instead.)

If you head to the Davis Vision website, you will see that they are offering $1300 for LASIK.  But for Freebies2Deals readers, they are making it $1400 off!  So just call Robyn (801-590-0864) to set up your FREE screening.  That is your first step to make sure that your eyes are ok to even have LASIK surgery.  Once you are cleared, then you can talk about when you want to do your surgery, set up a financing plan or make your appointment a few months from now and start saving up!

  1. Melea, are your eyes still really dry? I know in a follow up video you were still having to put those drops in multiple times a day. Did that ever improve?

    • Yes!I had to use them for a couple months.. and now I am totally fine and don’t need them. 🙂

  2. I know the amount differs a little, but how much is the average amount per eye? or how much did you spend?

    • Yeah it totally depends on the type of procedure you have to have. So it’s totally hard to say. But I would say $3,000- $4,000ish is pretty typical. But they wouldn’t be able to tell you how much exactly unless you did the free consultation. After seeing your eyes, they will know for sure. 🙂
