I know a lot of you are wanting to go to this fun Christmas event. And some of you might not know that you want to go… but you totally do! Promise! 🙂
On Saturday night, our family went for the very first time to Candlelight Christmas and I can’t believe how much fun we had. They had Train Rides, Square Dancing Classes, Caroling, a Donut Shop, crafts and candle making, Christmas Stories, an Indian Tee-pee and an amazing real-life Nativity! Father Christmas was there to visit with the kids too! There was so much to do we were literally rushing from thing to thing to make sure we got to see it all… and we were there 2 hours!
Not to mention their candy shop was pretty cool. Candy was $.05- $.15 each in these little candy bins and ended up being a great little “treat” during our long night.
I also thought I should try to get a discount for Candlelight Christmas for all of us too. And they gave us one!! TIP: Try to get there as early as you can. They open at 5pm and close at 9pm. Like I said, we got there at 7pm and were super rushed. There were just too many fun things to see.
Quick reminder as well. Candlelight Christmas is outdoors and you go to different buildings for different activities, food or events. And the train is enclosed. However, you will want to dress warmly–especially if it is snowing. Have fun everyone!!
