Nice! It looks like Groupon has released a new cash back app called Snap! This app is very similar to other apps I’ve mentioned like Ibotta and Checkout51!

Just like those two apps, the Snap app will pay you cash when you purchase select items at stores in your area! For example, right now they have offers for $1.00 cash back when you purchase a gallon of milk, $3.00 cash back on Huggies Diapers, $1.00 cash back on Country Crock Spread, $1.00 cash back on ANY bread, or $2.00 cash back when you purchase Huggies Wipes! And those are just a FEW of the offers that are available!

Here is how to use this app:

  • Create your account.
  • Check out what offers they have going.
  • Head to any grocery store and purchase the participating items.  **You can even use any coupons you already have!!
  • Upload a copy of your receipt
  • And they will give you cash back!

So instead of having to have coupons for all of the items you want to save on.  You can just submit your receipt and get cash sent back to you!

Once your account hits $20, you can cash out.  It’s super easy and a lot like other grocery store apps I have talked about before.  However, you can use Snap with an app.  Or, you can use their Internet version.  So everyone can use this one!

(Thanks Sarah!)

  3. What are the differences between Ibotta, Checkout 51, and Snap? Is one easier than the others? If you were only going to use one, which one would you choose? I have a small memory on my phone;), so I have to be really picky about which apps I download.

    • You can use Checkout 51 and Snap by uploading pictures of your receipt to your computer and using their websites to submit them — you don’t need to use an app. So, if you have a computer available, I would recommend getting the Ibotta app on your phone (since it requires an app to use) and using a computer for the other sites. Hope that helps!

    • I would pick and choose depending on your shopping list each week. They will all have different offers each week. So you can do some with one, some with another. 🙂
