Since Apple rumors are circulating that the new iPhone will release next week, you might be wanting to upgrade. If that’s the case, here’s how it works:
- Just head to Amazon and type in the name of the phone you want to trade in.
- Follow the directions on Amazon and mail in your item. (They will pay for you to mail it in)
- Amazon will inspect your item and then give you a Amazon Credit to your account. You can spend it on anything you want!

I knew Apple had a trade-in program, but they only give you an Apple store gift card. I rarely buy the overpriced items at the Apple store, but I spend half my paycheck at Amazon! Doing this from now on!

I traded it in about a year or so ago and it was an iPhone 4 I believe. The newer the phone the higher the prices.. so that is something to keep in mind too. They may have already lowered prices because the iPhone 5 is coming out in a week.
