Consumerreports.org did an experiment and found that these towels only cool 1-2 degrees differently than a wet towel from home, FYI.

Always good to read reports and reviews on products. I would like to add that these are MUCH lighter than regular household towels, they are very soft, and easy to transport 🙂

I have one of these and another brand called Frog Toggs from Big 5 ($10.99). These do work great but the Frog Toggs are awesome, we went camping in over 90 degree weather and it helped my toddler and me. I was able to nap in our hot tent with it draped over my, I woke up because I actually got COLD. These towls are lighter than Frog Toggs and are more comfortable but do not cool you down as much. I gave these to my MIL and she loves it for her hot flashes! I use it for my son’s stroller and car seat to keep it cool as well.
