Target announced on their Twitter feed a couple days ago that they will now be handing out a FREE kids cookie to each kid at the bakery counter!
Shopping with all your kids while also trying to coupon and score the best deals can sometimes get tricky. Grabbing your kids a free cookie before you begin might make it a little easier. Or, you could also use the cookie as an incentive at the end if they are good the whole time. 🙂

It’s worth just checking the bakery when you go to your grocery store. I’ve found that most of the grocery stores around me will give out cookies to kids you just have to ask. Like you said its a good incentive for before or after whenever you choose to give /get it and gives me that ten seconds of silence to shop, and makes shopping with kiddos a little bit easier!

The Fort Union Utah Target store has been doing this for a long time. Ditto to what Jamee said; most any store with a bakery will give kids a cookie. Sometimes there is a posted sign and sometimes you just have to ask. I’ve gotten them at Dan’s, Sam’s Club, and Smith’s (all in Utah).
