Ok, I’ve got another Disney announcement for all y’all.  Disney is going to have Disney Cruises out of San Diego in October of 2015!! There are only 6 sailings though.  So that means that the cabins are going to book up fast… and I mean FAST!

Here are the Cruises Available:

  • ONE 3-night sailing that leaves from San Diego to Ensenada.
  • TWO 2-night sailings that basically leave San Diego, do a loop and return to San Diego. They don’t go to Mexico at all and are just for people to get a taste of Disney Cruise Line. These will be on the weekend and would be awesome with a Disneyland trip.
  • THREE 5-night sailings from San Diego with a stop in Ensenada and one in Cabo.
  • You can see actual sailing dates on the Get Away Today blog.

Freebies2Deals readers get 50% off the deposit.  And your final payment isn’t due until 75 days before the trip.  So you will have over a year to pay for your Disney Cruise in full!  (Deposit will vary depending on your cruise and length of cruise.  But it is typically $225- $450.  And you will only have to pay half that.)  To get the 50% off deposit deal, make sure you tell them FREEBIES2DEALS when you call.

If you are interested, Get Away Today is recommending that you call TODAY and get on a waiting list.  They will call you back first thing tomorrow to get you booked before everything is sold out. You can call 877-510-2929 to get any of your questions answered.

Our family went on a Disney Cruise about 18 months ago and it was SO awesome!  If going out of San Diego is more affordable for your family, I would definitely jump on this opportunity.

  1. I have been on a cruise to Mexico and a Disney cruise to the carribean. I didn’t care for mexico as much. I would recommend going out of Florida, even if it does cost more for plane tickets.

  2. I have been a F2D follower since you had like 20 followers and this is my FAVORITE POST EVER Melea! I have looked multiple times to take my family of 5 on a disney cruise and its always been 7-8000…even when kids sail free. Since I hopped on this today we are all going for 3600 which is as much as Disneyland! You’re my favorite person right now hehe!

  3. Thank you for posting this! I’ve been wanting to do a Disney Cruise with my family for a while but couldn’t justify the cost of flying across the county just to go. We live in Los Angeles so this is perfect for us! Now to figure out how to keep it a secret from my kids for over a year. And get away today was awesome, they answered all my questions and took the time to check softening dates with different amounts of people (we ended up booking it with my IL’s coming with us too). I’ll definitely use them in the future! And they only had nice things to say about you, Melea!

  4. I just booked 9 rooms. I’ve done this sailing and the Bahamas but for 36 of us San Diego makes more sense. This date gives us plenty of time to save some $. Thanks for the heads up. Can’t beat a Disney cruise! Time to start a fish extender:)

  5. I second the others here. I have been looking for a Disney cruise for 2 years and I could not justify 8-10 thousand to go. We live in Vegas so this is perfect for us! Thanks so much!
