  3. I wanted to make you (Melea) as well as any readers who purchased this deal aware of a major issue. I ordered a couple of these cameras yesterday and was incredibly excited about the deal. This morning I have multiple pending fraudulent charges to the same credit card I used. I have contacted my credit card company and the companies the fraudulent charges were made to. I have e-mailed Walmart’s fraud department as well. Anyone who purchased this deal or the camcorder deal should keep an extremely close eye on their credit cards over the next little while to be sure they have not been scammed as well. Please keep sending the amazing deals our way. Thank you for all your hard work!

    • Autumn, thanks for letting us know! Walmart’s servers are very secure. So I really hope that your credit card wasn’t stolen through their website. Let me know what they say about it!

      • Upon talking to one of the companies charges were made to, the rep told me she had experienced a similar issue. She said Walmart told her smaller companies sell through Walmart.com. Her guess is that it is easier then for hackers to access information through these smaller companies. I just got an e-mail response from Walmart. It was a very generic (almost like it was computer generated) e-mail instructing me to contact my credit card company (which I have obviously already done). Hopefully no other readers experience any problems. Regardless of the trouble, I’m very excited to receive the cameras and be able to gift them to our children.
