A lot of you probably snagged the deal for the FREE Frozen DVD or Blu-Ray I posted about last week. (No longer available.) However, since you had to be new to score the deal you might not know that you have to authenticate your account.  They cannot pay you out for any referrals or for the cash back amount you earned on the Frozen DVD/Blu-Ray purchase until you do so.

So before you forget, make sure you head to your TopCashBack account and Authenticate it.  When you first created your account, they sent you an email to verify your email address.  A lot of people are reporting that it went to their spam folder. So check there first.

Once you open the email, click on the link to verify and authenticate your account. Voila!  Now you can get paid your cash back!

**If you can’t find the verification email, you can sign into your TopCashBack account and request it again.

Your cash back is payable as soon as TopCashBack receives money from the retailer. (Walmart in this case) It can take a few weeks up to two months.  It just depends.  But at any time you can check your cash back status in your account settings of TopCashBack and see what the estimated time frame is.  Once you have the green light, you can request the cash to be sent to you via Direct Deposit to your checking account, via Paypal or via an Amazon Gift Card!

  1. What is the difference between this and ebates, is there one better?

    • They’re pretty much the same sort of thing. You get a percentage of cash back at select online retailers. You just may find better cash back rates at one or the other, or one site may give a rebate on a store that the other doesn’t. It looks like TopCashBack is based in England, if that has any bearing on anything.

      • Hey Cristal, Brittany is right on. They are basically the same except that they will offer different percentages of cash back at different times on the same store. So depending on who has the higher amount, that is who I would go with.

Also, TopCashBack does not have a minimum amount of cash back you have to earn before you can cash out. So as soon as the money shows it is available, you can request the money. 🙂

  2. I’ve checked my junk folder and requested that a new email be sent. I’ve even sent them an email from my account so they would have something to reply to. I still haven’t seen the authentication email. Any thoughts/tips?
