Head over the Saving Star where they have a product coupon you can add to your account! You can 20% on your purchase of Bananas! (expires 2/24/14) Product coupons can sometimes be hard to come by so this is an awesome coupon to see. If you don’t have a Saving Star account you will need to create one.
Saving Star is also offering $5.00 in cash when you purchase $20 on any All Laundry Detergent. The offer is valid through March 5th, 2014. You will need to add the offer to your Saving Star Account.
Never heard of Saving Star? Basically you can create an account with SavingStar and download eCoupons onto your Shopper’s Card. Anytime you purchase those products and use your eCoupons, the same amount will be put into your SavingsCard Account. You can then redeem those points for things like FREE Gift Cards to Amazon or Paypal.
Here is how to get all set up and ready to go:
- Create an account on SavingStar
- Then, add your Shopper’s Card to your account.
- Browse for Grocery Store eCoupons and add them to your card.
- At checkout, your purchase total will stay the same and the money is put into your SavingStar Bank.
**Any store that has a shopper’s card can have eCoupons put on them through SavingStar. YAY! Also, please note that your total WILL NOT change with the eCoupons on your card. Instead of your grocery total lowering, you will have the same amount put into your account to earn free gift cards instead.

I think it’s important to note a distinction with the SavingStar coupon policy.
You state that “SavingStar says that you can use these special eCoupons on top of Manufacturer coupons.”
The SavingStar website says: “SavingStar eCoupons will work whether or not you combine them with other services’ coupons, but they are not intended to be used this way. Generally, manufacturers state that it is against their policies for shoppers to redeem more than one manufacturer’s coupon for the same purchase. Using in-store coupons in combination with SavingStar eCoupons is not a problem. Using coupons from other services in combination with a SavingStar “One or Many” deal is not a problem.”
So while you CAN use most of the ecoupons with a manufacturer coupon, I don’t think it’s really ethical to do so. The ones like the All laundry detergent are fine to combine with manufacturer coupons (as per the last sentence in the above paragraph), but the other coupons on the site are not intended to be used that way.

Thanks Mandi for letting me know of the change! It used to be ok on their website and they stated so. They must have changed their mind. Ill update the post. 🙂

I just signed up the other day and read all the fine print. At first I thought I was going to get super good deals by doubling the savings, but Saving Star is still great for things like the produce that don’t often have coupons! 🙂
