I personally really like getting Gift Cards as gifts— as long as the gift card is to a store I regularly shop at. But, you might have received a gift card as a gift for Christmas to a store you don’t shop at. Or, maybe you would just rather have cash.
Either way, you can actually sell your unwanted gift cards to Raise.com. They will give you cash for them! It’s awesome!!
Here’s How:
- Head over to Raise.com and create your account. Or, Log-in to your current account.
- Click on “Sell Gift Cards” at the top of the website.
- Enter in your Gift Card information. (Must have $20 or more on it)
- Choose your own selling price! This is a cool feature. You get to decide how much you want to sell your gift card for. Raise will help you know where to set your price, if you need help.
- Once your gift card has been purchased by a buyer, it will be your job to mail the gift card within 3 days. (Raise will give you a pre-paid shipping label to print off.) **If your gift card is a digital gift card, then Raise will take care of it for you.
- As soon as the UPS shipment is confirmed, Raise will deposit your funds into your account. You can then choose to use your funds to purchase a different gift card, or cash out.
- One part to note: When your gift card sells, Raise will deduct a 15% commission. A $1.00 fee is assessed to physical gift cards and eGift cards are free to deliver.
I would go through your wallet and see what gift cards you have. Sometimes I forget I even have them still. So it’s time to get some cash!
**Raise.com has an A rating with the BBB. So, this is one of the best gift card companies to work with- whether you are selling or buying a gift card.
