I already mentioned that the H&R site is taking an extra 15% off on tax software. But, you will also want to check out Amazon and see the deals they have going on too!
Right now, Amazon has big discounts on both the TurboTax and H&R Tax Software. And you can purchase the downloadable version and have it in minutes to start working on. Or you can get the actual software shipped to your home. And since everyone gets free shipping over $35, you should get just about any of the software packages shipped free!
Amazon is also doing something kinda fun. If you purchase the TurboTax Software from Amazon, you can get up to 10% extra back from your tax return IF you choose to get some (or all) of your return in the form of an Amazon Gift Card.
Here are the details:

This is actually a horrible price for the H&R Block software. Use http://www.camelcamelcamel.com to see Amazon’s price trends for the software last year (and for this year), and you can usually get it for nearly half this price if you wait for the sale. This is close to their normal price for this software, and you can expect a 25%-40% reduction sometime during the next month. I buy the premium + state version and usually pay $35 or less; currently Amazon has it at $55. Just wait, and it will come down quite a bit more, and likely in the next few weeks.
