When I’ve price matched there, you just take it to customer service and they look it up for you so they can verify the price, so no you don’t have to have a smart phone.

Just got mine. Amazon has the blue ray/dvd/digital streaming one for $9.96. I had to bring it to customer service, they checked the price and checked me out there. Be sure to have a copy of the coupon policy because they weren’t going to let me use the coupon, and even after reading it they were still leary.

No, Walmart will not pricematch any online prices from any website. Which is too bad, because it just makes their customers go elsewhere to buy it. 🙂

DON’T go to the Riverdale Target. They don’t understand Amazon or Prime and they won’t match the price. What locations did you all get yours at? I am super mad! I just drove 10 miles to get this and they wouldn’t do it. They claimed that they won’t match stores that require a membership and that Amazon Prime is a membership and so anything on their site that has the Prime Checkmark, they will not match (which is just about everything). So basically, they don’t match Amazon, they will only match items being sold on Amazon’s website but that are sold and fulfilled by other companies. I tried to explain to them that a Prime membership was not required to get that price and they said it didn’t matter because the Prime checkmark was on the item. They said that they had turned away several other customers today (many of them probably Freebies 2 Deals readers). Ughhhh.

I just got back from the Target in Jordan Landing and the gentleman at the counter told me that they will only price match for things that are sold and delivered via Amazon (not members who are selling their products) he was really nice, however they were out of the epic dvd at this store and only had the deluxe version (blue ray 3d, blue ray, dvd and digital copy) so they were not honoring that, I asked him if any other stores may have epic and he didn’t look it up (that was the only thing that upset me) he said that he’d been checking and he thought that everyone in the valley was almost out and they were not expecting more in before Amazons price went back up, which he thought was Thursday night/Friday morning. I almost didn’t get The Croods because I saw Amazons price had gone up but he’d been doing price matching all day and said I could get it (yay!)

I contacted Amazon before ordering and asked if they’d honor the coupon. I said it was kind of like price matching and sent them the link to freebies 2 deals (yeah for this site!). They said that they couldn’t but as a once off good will they’d give me a $5 credit. So I was able to get the dvd/blue-ray combo for 4.95 (then I had a gift card for amazon through swagbucks so I actually got it free that way). Hope this helps some of you! Good luck!

I had the same problem at Riverdale target. Sat and argued with the store manager. Will not be returning to that target. They lost a loyal shopper.

I agree, I won’t be shopping there either. I really think they misunderstand what Amazon and Prime are. I emailed Target corporate. I’m hoping I get a reply so I know for future reference who is really right according to Target policy. I’m pretty certain Riverdale is wrong. And I’m also hoping that they clear things up with Riverdale.

The price went back up on Amazon for Epic to 13.99 but still a great deal by getting 8.00 off (it’s just trying to find one here) I called the store on 10300 & state and they said they still had them in stock

Just thought I would let everyone know that Toys R Us will price match this as well! I missed out on the $9.96 BR price because of the weather, but got it today on Blue Ray for $13.99, I used the coupon and a gift card from my rewards and only paid $4.75 cash. I didn’t think to use their 20% off coupon, so I’m not sure if you can, but that would make it an even better deal!! Rebate is in the mail!!
