The BYU Museum of Art has an all new exhibition that opened November 15th, called Sacred Gifts and tickets are absolutely FREE! All you have to do is reserve your tickets online for the date you wish to attend.
Sacred Gifts showcases the religious art of Carl Block, Heinrich Hofman, and Frans Schwartz. What a great way to expose your family to some of the greatest religious art all in one place!
Here is a little information about the artists: “Carl Bloch, a Danish artist who felt his religious paintings were the greatest gift and contribution that he could make; Frans Schwartz, another Danish artist who believed in what he was doing and studied the scriptures; and Heinrich Hofmann, a German artist who made it a daily habit of studying the scriptures to truly have a personal relationship with God.”
The exhibit will be running through May 10, 2014.
