You can now purchase your Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Tickets! Hurry over before they’re sold out!

Ok, for everyone heading to Disneyland this Halloween Season… or for any of you coming with ME to Disneyland, here is your heads up about the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Tickets.  For the General Public, they will go on sale July 15th!  You can purchase them on the Disney Website at that time.

**If you happen to be a Disney Visa Rewards Card Holder, you can purchase as early as TODAY!

Here are the dates:

  • September 27, October 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30, 31

It is very important that you purchase tickets for the date you want as soon as you are able.  These ALWAYS sell out…. and it is (in my opinion) they best part about going to Disneyland during Halloween Time!

For those coming with me to Disneyland over Sept 24th- Sept 28th, make sure you grab that September 27th Party Ticket if you want to come!

You will pay for the special ticket. (Around $50-$60 per person) They will let you into the park around 5:00pm and kick everyone else out around 6:00pm.  In past years, we have had the entire park to ourselves until Midnight- although we got all of the rides done WAY before that.  And, they have fun candy and treat stations all along the park.  When I say we had bags of treats… we really did!

Everyone in your family can come dressed up in their Halloween costumes (optional of course) and they even give you Trick or Treat bags!  It’s one of the most fun things I have ever done at Disney.

Here are some of the reasons why I love Disneyland in October:

  • It’s the only time of the year you will see the Villians come out.  Captain Hook, Ursula, Cruella De Vil, Malificent and more!
  • They change Space Mountain into Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and a scary ghost chases you around the ride.
  • The Haunted Mansion is also updated just for Halloween into a Nightmare Before Christmas Ride.  (I actually like it better than the original ride.)
  • They do a special Fireworks Display only during Halloween Time.  And if you know me, you know I LOVE Fireworks!  They also have special parades.
  • And of course, you get all the other fun stuff if you go to the Mickey’s Halloween Party I talked about above.

If you are wanting to book your Disneyland Vacation, just a reminder that Get Away Today has a $10 off promo code when you book a vacation package (hotel and tickets) for Freebies2Deals readers.  Just use code FREEBIES2DEALS when you purchase online or when you call in.

  5. Disneyland at Halloween is one of the most magical times! We did Mickey’s Halloween Party last year with a 5, 3 and 1 year old. I WOULD NOT recommend it for small children. LOTS of candy and treats but it is SO crowded and exhausting. Definitely not magical. If you do do it then just do this and not the entire day at the park! We had family with older kids 8 and up and they loved it!!

  7. We went last year. It was VERY crowded at Mickey’s Halloween Party. It was still fun, but they sell a ton of tickets for the party so don’t expect the park to be empty. The park seemed just as crowded as it was earlier in the day. The lines for trick or treating were long but you will get a lot of treats to take home.

  8. Disneyland at Halloween is our family’s favorite time of year and we hold season passes! The haunted mansion does transform into the nightmare before Christmas and is our favorite ride, and it lasts through Christmas too! My 3 and 5 year olds are scared of space mountain ghost galaxy. The ghost is gross but my 10 yo loved it. And the Halloween party is crowded, so I would recommend the 2nd parade.

The truth is that you shouldn’t need to update your season passes all that often.
give it away as a not-for-profit filler or use it for public service announcements.

  19. I’m wondering how everyone has bought tickets? I can’t seem to find the right link, it just tells me to check back closer the event date. Please, please, please help a girl out!! I really want these tickets!

    • If you are able to purchase tickets early by having the Disney Card or the other reasons, you will want to actually call them and do it over the phone. Unless you have a Year Pass and can log in, you won’t be able to buy it online.

  21. I am trying to get tickets for my family for october 17th 2014. Unfortunatly my work cancelled my vacation so I didn’t buy the tickets than just found out last week that they gave everyone their vacation back, but by then the tickets were sold out. Is there anyone out there that would know where I can get the tickets without paying an arm and a leg. Thanks to anyone who answers greatly appreciate it.

    • Erick, You can try to find some on eBay, Craiglist and if you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, they might have some still they can sell you. (They keep some set aside for their guests only)
