Here is how to take advantage of this promotion:

  • Visit the Fandango site and enter your zip code.
  • Select a participating theater near you and purchase 2 or more movie tickets for the same showing of one of the movies pictured above.
  • At checkout, one of the tickets will be FREE! (Up to $15 value including the convenience fee)

Looking through the promotion details, the movies that are eligible are: The Lone Ranger, Pacific Rim, The Wolverine & Man of Steel! So if you have been wanting to see one of those movies and haven’t yet, make sure to take advantage of this deal!

  2. I just went on there & it said “Sorry, this promotion is only available from July 15 – 28, 2013, while supplies last.”….darn for limited supplies.

  4. Hi Jim, I appreciate the resspnoe. Yes, in fact we get express consent via our opt-in screen which also links to our privacy policy. I frankly agree with your analysis that the privacy policy can be improved to better reflect our actual usage for example the opt-in requirement, expressly stating that we don’t store the data, and other items.I have reached out to our attorneys so they can take another look thank you. If possible, I would much appreciate if you could update the article to reflect our confirmation that we receive express user consent and do not store or sell data. The data is simply being used for end-user convenience to pre-populate a form, in the same manner that Google, Pontiflex, and others use the method.
