  3. i got accepted last time, i thought it was going to be great…until i got everything in the mail and was starting to set it up, online when i was looking at it, everything said you just scan and send it, well its really a lot more than just scanning, you also have to enter in how much you paid for each item and if you used a coupon, and i was looking at the point system, and for how many points you earn and how much the prizes are, i figured my time was more valuable than that, so i sent it back

  4. This is NOT something to keep your kids occupied while you shop. You have to enter the information after you’re done shopping and you have your receipt. It is very time consuming, especially if you are someone who uses a lot of coupons. And if you forget to submit your scans for more than one week, they will send you threatening letters in the mail.

Their rewards are also very costly with their point system. I did this for over a year and only ended up earning a reward worth $25-30. That would be awesome if it were simple, but it is a very tedious and time consuming process. I kept staying in the program because I wanted something to show for all the effort I had put in, but it would take YEARS of dedication to earn a decent reward with this. It was such a weight off my shoulders when I quit this panel. It is not for everyone.

  5. I don’t think you need to have a PC. I have a PC and a Mac, but my scanner is plugged in through my router — I don’t think it has anything to do with my computer. If you’re interested, I would recommend trying to sign up anyway.

  6. I signed up a year and a half ago. The prizes aren’t really that great but I earn a gift certificate each year to pay for my car registration from Jiffy Lube…I keep scanning, but I don’t scan all my purchases because it is a little time consuming. I usually spend one day a week when I have a large grocery purchase, etc and scan that day and forget about the rest of the week. As long as you scan and transmit something, you’ll get the points.

    • I hate to be a “kill-joy” but, I completely agree w/ all the negative comments. We’re still waiting to spend our points on something worthwhile but they’re so “expensive”. Afterwards, another spot will open up soon. However, we’ve never rec’d any threatening letters in the mail. In the beginning, we had a devil-of-a-time getting our points to transfer electronically but, after receiving another scanner, all has been a different story.

  8. I did it for a year and all I ever got was a 25 dollar I-tunes gift card, it was very time consuming and it seems like the people who win stuff are mainly back east. I just sent my back.
