  1. Not sure why they are valuing 2 movie tix costing $24. At my local theater, you can buy the tix online for around $17.50 (adult, weekend evening). Maybe some theaters are way more expensive and the voucher will cover up to $24?

Anyway, you are still charged he “service fees,” with the voucher which for two movie tix are around $4.50.

    So $12 + $4.50 = $16.50….

The deal only saves a dollar for me (if you buy tix at the theater). But it does allow you to buy online.

Just passing on what the actual savings may be, so you know that it may not actually be like getting 2 for 1!

  2. Buyer Beware: I bought this exact deal through Moolala for VIP Movie Tickets the last time it came around. I went to use them on Thanksgiving but the VIP site was down. I tried repeatedly to redeem them during the month of December but the site never worked. Their phone number was a recorded message that would not let me leave a message. Moolala did make it right after much ado but I will never do business with VIP Movie Tickets again.

  3. Hello everyone-

Thanks for your feedback on this promotion. Mae, you’re right, this promotion doesn’t add up to a perfect 2:1. There are some situations and markets where the discount will be more significant. For example, IMAX or very large metropolitan locations where ticket prices are higher.

Em, we’d like to hear from you (even if its again) regarding your experience with this merchant. There was a period of time when they were down, but have increased their infrastructure and support team since our last promo.

We value your feedback, thanks for everything.
