    • Hey, if you have to do a more complicated return, they will usually charge you a little bit. I know the homepage of Turbo Tax will show you which tax filings are free. Hope that helps!

  2. Does this Turbotax include the state or do you have to buy that separately?

    Thanks.

  3. If you don’t itemize, meaning if you’re not a homeowner etc and don’t have things to write off, then it’s free. Other wise fed is 30 and state is 40. If you live in ut and use America first credit union, there’s a TT link on the home page that takes it down to 25 & 35.

  4. I can’t quite remember the cost, but you can buy the itemized Turbo Tax version at Costco. Usually their second set of coupons of the year (coming soon) will have a 10.00 off coupon. Theirs does include calculating the state return, but only includes one efile. we efile our federal and just send in our state.
