  5. Just a head up. Don’t buy this voucher. I thought what a great deal at first so bought it quick without first checking the website to see prices. Not only is everything way expensive and not worth it but even if you buy the cheapest thing they offer, you still have to pay 12.99 for shipping which is completely ridiculous for a couple of dipped strawberries that you could easily do yourself at home for way cheaper. This was definitely something I wish I had done a little more research before purchasing because now I regret it.

    • Katelynd: the fine print (on the item’s Living Social page) says: “Voucher may be used towards tax and shipping”…are you sure you can’t use it toward shipping? Did you try applying the credit in your shopping cart already? I haven’t purchased the deal, but I was still thinking about it. thanks.

  6. Thanks for the heads up, Katelynd! I was considering buying it, but it wouldn’t let me use the $5 off code. Then I realized that it’s because it DID expire this morning at 5 AM Eastern Time. So even though maybe it’s supposed to be valid still, it’s not. Maybe it’s a good thing. Too bad shipping is so expensive. It’s probably because they are shipped expedited (I would assume?).

  7. Not worth is is a matter of opinion. 🙂 I got Shari’s Berries one year from my husband and I loved them. they were huge, and pretty, and tasty. I have since sent them as gifts SEVERAL times. When you get this deal it’s almost like getting free shipping. It may not be cheap but it’s a great way to send joy to someone you love, especially if they live far away. I am bummed I was sick yesterday and missed out on seeing this! Oh and you can get 4% back though ebates. 🙂
