Ikea’s Eat For Free promotion is back! If you haven’t seen this before, here is how it works:
1. Purchase your meal in the Restaurant.
2. Receive a coupon with your receipt.
3. Give your coupon and receipt to the Check-outs cashier and receive the total amount of your meal deducted from your purchase of over $100.
The deal is going on this weekend only, January 19-January 21, 2013. All Ikea locations except Houston are participating.
Fine print: Restaurant purchase must be consumed on the premises. Limit one restaurant receipt per store discount. Home furnishings purchase must be made the same day as the restaurant purchase. Not valid on IKEA Gift Card purchases. Simply hand over your IKEA Restaurant receipt with the coupon to the store cashier to have your discount applied. Total home furnishing purchase must be $100 or more before tax.

We’ve taken advantage of this deal a couple times, and will be headed down with our family for dinner tomorrow as well. If there is something big on our list of things to buy at Ikea (We love Ikea btw) we wait and see if one of these events pop up if we are not in a hurry to get it. We have been doing some minor remodeling lately and have had free dinner for the family in Nov, Dec, and now January. Thanks Ikea. 🙂

This is an amazing promotion. There are virtually no restrictions besides having to spend at least $100 on home furnishings ( which is everything in Ikea besides food items). You can go all out, order wine, dessert, Naked juices, just whatever you like. My family of 5 spent $89.61 on lunch and that was deducted from my $130 purchase.
