Trade in Old Video Games and Gaming Systems for Amazon Credit!

DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission.

If you are upgrading to the bigger and newer gaming system this year, talk your family into trading in your old gaming systems and video games to get Amazon Credit! If you aren’t going to use them, or use them as much, you might as well turn them in for some cash to spend on games for your NEW Gaming Console for Christmas!

  • Just head to Amazon and put in the Gaming System you want to trade in.  Or type in the name of the Game.
  • Follow the directions on Amazon and mail in your item.  (They will pay for you to mail it in)
  • Amazon will inspect your item and then give you a Amazon Credit to your account.  You can spend it on anything you want!

Pretty sweet huh?  You probably won’t get the credit back before Christmas.  But, you could put together a present saying that you have “$30 to spend on Video Games on Amazon”.  That way, your kids can pick out additional games they want after Christmas. Just an idea!

We actually did something similar with my Husband’s old iPhone.  His was in mint condition, so Amazon actually gave him $400 in Amazon Credit with his trade in!!
