Swagbucks is another one like this that I would suggest you put a little time into. A lot of sites don’t make it easy to earn points and you spend a lot of time not qualifying for something or not making very many points for your time. I have 2 tips for earning swagbucks easily: First, set swagbucks as your homepage when you open your internet browser so if you do a search with their search bar, you get credited points for your search, Second, if you want to watch the news or watch TV, watch it on swagbucks! I love watching food network and they have so many recipe videos from food network on their site! You get credited 3 swagbucks for watching 10 short videos (some are shorter/longer than others). Or, if you don’t want to watch the videos, you can always just play them and go about doing your every day things (cleaning, browsing the internet, reading, etc) and be earning swagbucks while your videos are playing!

There are plenty of ways you can earn points! I set my home screen and my husband’s laptop home screen to swagbucks so that every time we need to search for something, we are always using it. I go on everyday and do their polls or surveys or watch commercials and even though they aren’t worth many points, they add up fast. Also, anytime I am going to sign up for something such as netflix I go to swagbucks to see if I can get points through them by doing it. They also have coupons that you can print and if you use them, then you get more points but I’m not for sure yet how this works. Take the daily poll for a free point, and this is an important one ~~~ I set my homepage to search something so every time I open my homepage it searches and therefore MOST of the time I get points. I also use it to to get to websites instead of typing the direct URL in the search bar/using bookmarks.

If you really have time, do the extra opportunities to read/watch and print some of the free offers (no need to purchase or sign up with anything) as that will help you with points. Be careful with the ones that ask for some kind of obligation to get points and make sure it’s what you really want to do and understand the fine print. They are very explicit and disclose everything, though. Swagbucks Customer Service has been very helpful with some of the technical and point related issues that sometimes come up. Swagbucks is a great way to get someone else to pay for your birthday/holiday shopping and it is effortless to use.

The trick for me is to NOT spend forever doing it. I don’t earn bank, though, either. I get about 1 GC a month ($5), for about 3 min a day (3×30 = 90 min per GC)… so it’s not really worth it if you have a good paying job… but for someone like me who is unemployed & on the internet anyway.. a few more clicks isn’t a deal breaker for me… so it’s totally worth it.
I just do one search a day to get points (I get 7-10 usually), I do the daily poll and NOSO. There are a few pages online that post when Swagbucks has codes for free points, and I enter those whenever possible. It works out to be about 15-20 points a day, for FREEEEE!
If you have other people signed up under you, and if they follow a simple program like this, you get matching points for the searches they do…. granted, it takes a certain personality to do it everyday.. but they are out there!

Every night I make sure to turn off my computer and turn it back on (because just for opening my web browser with the swagbucks toolbar I get 1 point!). One of the best ways I found to earn Swagbucks is through referrals — they do the work for you! Every member of a household is allowed to have his/her own Swagbucks account, so be sure if your family members join that you get them as a referrals! Also, I’ve found the best way to get good referrals is to sit down and show them how to use Swagbucks (and let them know that you only get points for their searches). Otherwise, you may find that they sign up, but never use it.
Also, be sure to print your Coupons.com coupons through Swagbucks! I’ve gotten a lot of Swagbucks this way. If you’re going to print and use coupons (as most of us do), you might as well get some points for it!
One last little tip: It seems like most days people get Swagbucks for searches an average of about 2-3 times. I’ve found that if I search using different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, etc.) or different computers throughout the day, I tend to get Swagbucks for searches more often.

I love swag bucks, 3 Tips
1. Download the Swagbucks toolbar for your browser.
This makes it where every quick search you do is automatically through Swagbucks. There is also a little spot where you will see swagcodes pop up. They are only good for a few hours so this way you know as soon as possible.
2. Follow Swagbucks on Twitter and Facebook (if you already use these).
They release more swagcodes through these sites, so you have a better chance of knowing them.
3. You will probably only win a max of 4 times a day, so after that just chill out a bit so you don’t get burnt out.
Some say that there is a limit per amount of time, and that spreading your searches out will help. Try searching a little in the morning, afternoon and evening.

I am constantly checking their survey link. Even if I don’t have any surveys in the morning, later that afternoon I may have a couple, or a lot. They are higher valued so it’s easier to not only reach my daily goal, but to have my swag bucks add up faster.

I use Swagbucks for a variety of things. I do the daily poll, and NOSO for a few easy points. And mostly just searches on the internet even for sites I visit daily. Usually get between 7-10 swagbucks on a search a couple times a day, but occasionally have gotten a 30 point or higher, and not even on a Friday. My goal is to get 1 $5 amazon gc /month meaning I need @ 15 /day which is doable for me, as I have 2 little boys and a house to take care of. There a plenty of other ways to earn too, but takes more time that I don’t have right now.

I’d also recommend joining the “Swagbucks Offers That Credit” page if you decide you want to do more than casual searching. This fan page helps you do the “special offers” that offer points without extra spam emails.
