“From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Red Butte Garden transforms into a habitat for vampires, werewolves, and ghosts—monsters dedicated to the scariest thing of all: teaching about nature. During the Garden After Dark event, guests participate in activities such as pumpkin painting and face painting while learning the principles of horticulture through a spooky, Halloween-themed lens. Visit Dracula’s crypt to blend a special concoction of herbs that ward off the undead, discover the moon’s impact on the natural world in the Werewolf’s den, or decorate a lantern and release it on the haunted pond to put lurking spirits to rest.”
One important thing to note, the tickets purchased on Groupon will only be valid for the events on Thursday, October 18, and Thursday, October 25. So make sure to double check your calendar to see if one of those dates will work before you purchase these tickets.

Garden After Dark is hands down my favorite thing to do with my family at Halloween time. Not cute, but not too scary. You actually get to run around in the dark, which doesn’t happen so often with all the trunk-or-treats. It is Halloween as it should be.
