Free Halloween Pumpkin Carving Stencils!~

So I think our family is finally going to try carving pumpkins this year.  My little girl has just been too young to do it until now.

My pumpkin carving skills are pretty limited.  So, if any of you are like me, I thought I would share this fun site that has a bunch of FREE Halloween Pumpkin Carving Stencils you can print off.  I thought the Mickey Mouse one was super cute… I hope we can pull that off! 🙂

  1. If you want something easier for Mickey, just attach two smaller pumpkins for the ears and just carve the eyes, nose and mouth.

  12. We found some Disney ones a couple years ago and had a Cinderella pumpkin. Since then we’ve also added a Jack Skellington almost every year. 🙂 Thanks for more templates.

  61. We love to use stencils for carving pumpkins! Thanks! There are usually lots of left over carving kits at WalMart after Halloween. I stock up for the next year, since they usually don’t last more than a year (well at least they don’t last long at our house, but then we have some very enthuastic BIG kids that carve pumpkins at our house each year). They usually aren’t too expensive to get before hand and do make the carving of details TONS easier.

  95. Our kids are little so they usually paint pumpkins and we carve one big one for the family. Last year my husband used a drill to carve big round holes in a pattern all the way around the pumpkin and came out super cute once it was lit.

  141. I honestly haven’t carved a pumpkin in years. Our family has drawn on them with markers, painted them, pushed thumbtacks into them, covered them with pantyhose, and or just left them in their natural orange-ness. If you have the time,talent, patience, and non-aversion to sticky, slimy, smelly insides, then more power to you! 🙂 And cute Disney-stencils can’t lead you astray!

  145. I always try to remember to thin down the wall i’m going to be putting my pattern on to try and make it easier to cut through, otherwise my pattern isn’t as nice as I’d like it.

  225. We use this site every year! My husband is the pumpkin carver in our family. He has done Elmo, Dora, the dragon from Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Aurora. He lets the kids help poke the holes with a pencil around the stencil so it is easier to carve.

  286. I prefer painting our pumpkins and using glitter. Then they don’t get all gross outside really quick and we can do it now and they last all month. And sometimes I can keep them out for Thanksgiving if they’re not too spooky looking.

  288. Instead of carving, you can use the stencil to paint or mod podge glitter on, or put glow in the dark paint on…pretty tapes….etc. 🙂

  289. My kids love using the stencils. They poke the holes to outline the pattern, and then let me do the knife work (a bit safer this way).

  346. Yay for free stencils! My kids are just about the perfect age for this. Thanks! (I’ve heard that a coating of vaseline or sprayed bleach will keep them from molding as fast – I plan to try both to see what actually works.)

  348. We use the stencils to paint faces onto our pumpkins. Easier, and the pumpkins last longer. We’re able to wipe off the faces and keep them out for Thanksgiving. Yeah, we really stretch out the lives of our pumpkins to save money! Thanks for the Disney stencils. The kids will love them.
