I have decided not to shop on double coupon days anymore. I find that most of the time I can get the same or even better deal by simply price matching… and I don’t have to deal with the longer wait at checkout. Also, for some weird reason, when I go I tend to spend more on things I don’t need…. it takes a lot of control to only buy things you need and just because your coupon doubles to $1, doesn’t mean you are getting the best price. 🙂

There is a store in Utah county that does this called Ridleys and they started last year when they were really marketing their we match ad campaign. I hope that the rest of you can take advantage of this too.
