Yesterday at Target, I made sure to go check out the back of the store for clearance. At my location, Back to School items were marked at 30% off. And, items in the Outdoor Clearance section were 30%-50% off.
All stores will start their clearances at different times and even up the percentage off faster or slower depending on the space in their store. Everyone is setting up Halloween items, so you can bet they are trying to get rid of Back to School and Outdoor items as quickly as possible.

I scored a great deal on nice pens at my target. They were those pens that are made out of recycled plastic bottles and there was a coupon for them in the Sunday paper a couple of weeks ago. They were marked down to $1.44 for a two-four pack, and I had a $1 off coupon for each of them, making them .44!
