  1. This is awesome. Combined with the $25 Gift card from amazon I could possibly have a free hotel room and free movies to relax and watch all night!!!

  3. This seems like it could be good. However, when I’ve tried Priceline before, I found the prices for the hotels to be the same as they were on the hotel website. Maybe I need to dig around more on the site and figure out how to get cheaper hotels!!! I do tend to find decent ones to stay in though. =)

  8. I’m also signed up with Expedia and every month I get an email from them telling me what specials they have and usually there is a coupon code for a discount on my next booking!

  11. I love the deals regarding travel (especially airfare). Everyone should take time out of their busy life to travel and see new parts of this HUGE world! With deals like this, it makes it more interesting to those on a tight budget (which means me).

  12. I LOVE Priceline! I always book through their bidding site when I visit family. When bidding, I suggest trying for the 3+ star first (even if you wouldn’t mind staying in a 2 or 2 1/2), then if you don’t get it, you can lower the star level on the same day. If you don’t get a price you like, and don’t want to lower the star rating or change locations, Priceline makes you wait 24 hours before you can bid again. That’s why I suggest bidding for the highest star rating first!

  13. Just make sure you won’t want to extend your vacation if you go for airfare through Priceline. We thought we might like to extend a couple of days once, and even going through the airlines, willing to pay a fee, they wouldn’t let us change our flights.

  14. This is great! We just used the Name Your Own Price and got a hotel center city Philly for $60, so this could help trim the price even more. 🙂 Thank you.

  20. Sweet! My husband just scored a plane ticket through priceline for almost 1/3 the cost of any other airfare discount website. We’ve never used priceline before now, but with how much we saved, we will definately be using them in the future. :o)

  29. I love priceline, this is great. I just booked a hotel for Thanksgiving week to go see my husbands kids. We did the priceline auction and it was an amazing deal. We did this for our road trip this summer and it worked out well for us, as well.

  32. I adore Priceline! So many times I have booked a room that retails for $150 or more for $50! One time for an anime convention, we were told all the rooms were booked at the event’s hotel but I went to Priceline and named my price ($50) for a 3 star hotel in the area and ended up in the very same hotel for 1/3 of the “bargain” price posted by the hotel for anime convention goers!
