Just got my Staples voucher and I was surprised that when it states available for “Immediate Redemption” it doesn’t mean redemption at the store, but to call into customer service where they try to sell you something else, then tell you they will send a gift card in the mail in 10 days. Just a little different then other site’s I have used in the past. I have also noticed that the 1/2 off gift cards are ONLY for new customers and if you look around the site the merchandise they are selling looks like a Lillian Vernon catalog.

I love this site! I have never had a problem using their giftcards. I especially like that they are real gift cards so I can give them away for gifts and it look legit instead of a printed piece of paper. I know other sites offer to do gift cards but there is an extra charge. This is just a great deal!

I wasn’t too impressed with this, I guess. I actually forgot about it altogether, so I’m glad the emailed me a reminder saying my voucher was ready to redeem (I hope it was a reminder and not just barely ready, at least!). I called today and the guy who picked up (immediately) was very unprofessional and strange…oh well. While he was talking and getting all my information over the phone again (name, address, email), I was searching online to make sure the company was legit. I took Melea’s word for it. Then he offered me several other deals that I could get with an extra processing fee, etc. (magazine subscriptions, $100 restaurant cards). It was not the most fun. He said my gift card will arrive in a week or so, and then I think that will be the end of my experience with Saveology.

Not very professional experience for me either, though the woman on the phone was very nice. She also sold me a $100 (gift card?? or voucher?? Guess I’ll find out) for $4.95 for a ton of different restaurants and stores. I really hope it works out, but if it doesn’t then I’ll only be out $4.95. She also tried selling me some magazine subscriptions. I kept saying, “No, no, no! No, no, no!”. I agree with Meghan, not very fun. I will let you all know how that $100 thingy turns out…
