Offer has expired.  Head over here to see the most Recent Newspaper Deal.

The newspapers contacted me last night to let me know they were going to do a special Sunday Only Subscription Offer.  You can get an entire year (52 weeks) of the Sunday Only Edition of the Salt Lake Tribune or Deseret News Sunday Paper for $20!!  It’s normally $50 for a year. This deal makes each issue only $.38 and an absolute steal!

You can purchase multiple copies of the paper at this price too!

Getting multiple copies of the Sunday Paper is the way to really build up your Stockpile and Food Storage.  So when something is Free, you purchase multiples with your multiple coupons.  Then, store them away for when you run out. You will NEVER pay full price for items again!

  • If you already have a subscription to the Salt Lake Tribune or Deseret News, you can add a copy to your current subscription with this offer. (They allow up to 2 copies of each total per household)
  • If you have never had the newspaper delivered before, you can grab this offer.
  • If you have had a subscription, but it has been more than 45 days since it expired, you can do this offer as well.
  • If you already have a subscription, you CANNOT renew your subscription with this deal unfortunately.

So, if you have been holding off on getting the Coupon Inserts, this is definitely the time to get them!

To get this deal, you will have to pay the amount up-front. They will not do automatic billing. But, you can pay for the entire year up front and not worry about it!

**All orders for the Salt Lake Papers need to be placed by Wednesday at 10am to ensure  that your upcoming Sunday Paper arrives in time. An order placed after Wednesday at 10am will start a week later.

If you would like to Subscribe to any of the option listed above, please email me at melea@freebies2deals.com with the Subject Title of Newspaper Subscriptions. I will send you a secure and encrypted web form for you to submit your order to the Newspaper Agency.

  2. You also have to be a new customer, meaning that you have not received the paper in the last 60 days.

  3. Do the different papers come with the exact same coupons? Or is one better than the other coupon-wise?

    • I get them both and they have the same coupons!

  4. So, I did this deal this morning. It states that it will renew after the 52 weeks at the newspaper’s specified price unless I cancel it before then. Anyone know online where I would have to cancel it?

    • Hey Jennifer,

Right before your subscription expires, the Newspaper will mail you a renewal form. Basically stating what the renewal price is and give you a number to call and cancel. If you don’t do anything, then it will just keep coming and they will send you a bill. So, just watch for that in about a year if you don’t want to continue the paper.

    • I would love to know too. Also waiting for a paycheck next week

    • It is supposed to go for about 2 weeks. So you should be good. Let’s just hope they don’t end it early for some weird reason!

  8. I had gotten the advertisement for this promotional offer in the mail on Tuesday along with my weekly grocery ads. I called the paper and had a hard time ordering it. The rep said I had to order it online. I told her the advertisement said I could either order over the phone or online. Then she told me the promotion had already expired. I then asked to speak to a manager. He basically told me the same thing. Needless to say, I was quite frustrated by this time! I did go online later in the day and was able to order it online with the promotional pricing.

          • Sorry they do not have the RP inserts. And most of the time, they aren’t deliverable in St. George. It just depends.

  10. Every time I see a post for a newspaper deal it is so frustrating! I already get the paper and pay $10 a month for just one Sunday paper. But I can’t get a better deal because I already subscribe. How do I get a better deal? Just cancel and hope something comes up after 60 days and miss out on all the coupons in the meantime??

    • Yeah, I’m not sure what else you would do… other than calling up the newspaper and trying to negotiate something with them?

      Reply
    • Do you have parents that live by that don’t get the paper? Last time they had this deal, I had it sent to my mom’s house and then I just pick up my papers when I visit her every sunday.

      Reply
    • I called them and at least they changed my subscription to $50 a year instead of $100, but still I had to pay it up front. Good idea Marcie but I don’t have anyone close by to do that. ðŸ™

  11. So this subscription is only for a year? Does that mean that when it runs out, you have to go back to paying full price? I guess what I want to know is, right now I have a subscription that I pay $39 for. If I add another subscription at this $20 rate, when my original one runs out, will I keep this one until the year mark, and then they will tell me I have to pay their usual rate, or will it keep going at $20? I’m not even sure how adding a subscription to my existing subscription even works…

    • Yes, only for one year. At the end of your subscription, they will contact you with a renewal price via mail. You can either not do anything and they will bill you and your paper will keep coming, or you can cancel before it renews. You can call them up and try to negotiate a better rate as well.

When your original paper runs out, the new paper will keep coming until it hits a year. Then, what I talked about above will happen.

  14. Just FYI.. I did this deal a year ago when you posted it, and a few weeks ago they sent me a renewal and the price was much higher. I called to cancel because I wasn’t willing to pay the price for my papers, and they offered me this deal, so I renewed at this price, even though I had already been receiving the paper. I’m not sure if I just got lucky or if anyone could do it 🙂

  15. I know it’s the Salt Lake paper but don’t they deliver in St. George too? Which paper is best, Deseret News or SL Tribune, (coupon wise)?

  16. Melea,

I have send an email. I didn’t receive a web form for subscription..
Which paper is best for coupons?

  17. I just received my Sunday Deseret News paper and I didn’t see any coupons in it. I was under the impression that they had coupon inserts. Could they have just left them out on accident?
    Thanks.

    • Tammy- Coupons don’t arrive on Major Holiday Weekends. So, since it is Labor Day, that is why we didn’t have any today. But don’t worry, they make up for it with extra coupon inserts in the new few weeks! 🙂
