DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission.

You didn’t read the title wrong. It looks like Dollar Tree locations will begin accepting coupons on or around August 26th!

You will want to check with your local store to confirm when they will begin accepting coupons. But all stores should be accepting them by September.

Here is a brief  overview of what the Dollar Tree Coupon Policy will look like:

  • Only two internet coupons accepted per transaction
  • NO Buy One Get One Free coupons accepted
  • NO FREE coupons or coupons that require the associate to write in the amount of the purchase will be accepted
  • No retailer specific coupons will be accepted
  • All coupons must be presented at the time of purchase
  • Coupons CAN NOT be redeemed for more than the value of the product

Signs should start appearing in the stores this week alerting customers of this policy change. Since we know that everything at Dollar Tree is only $1.00 it is exciting to think about the potential deals we could find using coupons there!

  1. Here in Indiana, our dollar trees have always taken manufactures coupons. However, I’ve noticed that routinely they’re always out of items. I don’t know if folks are clearing the shelves or if its just that they “magically” don’t have the items during the time the coupons are good for. Also, many of the times the items don’t meet all of the requirements of the coupon so you can’t always use the coupons you think you’ll be able to :(. Just a heads up…maybe if this is going chain wide it’ll be more consistant?

Good Luck….sorry if I sound like a naysayer!!
