Back to School Deals can be overwhelming trying to find the best price. So here is my advice… write down all of the items that you need and take a look at the ads, then you can compare and see which stores are carrying the items on your list for less. Or, just take all the ads with you and price match at Walmart. It is totally up to you!

I don’t know if it will work for everyone, but I used the $1 off 2 Bic products from last week’s paper or their facebook page for a 50 cents moneymaker at Staples!

Our Fred Meyer stores in the Spokane/Coeur d’ Alene area have the $1 off 2 Bic coupons all over in the store. I picked up a couple, and was able to use them at Staples for a $.50 moneymaker on two packages of pens in one transaction, and two free packages of whiteout in another transaction. (Had to pay tax, though.) Still a good deal. Hit four stores today (Fred Meyer, Staples, Office Depot, and Target), and only spent $6.90 after tax for a huge pile of school supplies to donate to our local schools. Included was 5 spiral notebooks, 8 packages of notebook paper, 6 bottles of school glue, 5 three-packs of erasers, 2 two-packs of white-out, a 10 pack of papermate pens, 3 dual hole pencil sharpeners, 2 twelve-packs of presharpened pencils, 2 four-packs of glue sticks, and 2 two packs of the Bic Velocity Gel pens.
