I know Malea mentioned the quality of the backpacks wasn’t great, but I just wanted to let everyone know that these back packs are REALLY poor quality. We got two of them last year (when they were free) and they both ripped apart in just a couple of days. I wouldn’t even go get them if they were free again. The supplies that came with the back packs were pretty poor quality as well, i ended up throwing all of them away.

I just went and picked some up on Saturday (8/4). The backpacks don’t seem to be of any less quality than the cheap ones you get at Walmart. But if you are on a tight budget, and don’t load them too heavy, they will work. The schools supplies inside are of really poor quality. The pencils have great big chunks of missing wood, and then they are all just shrinked wrapped in a cheap plastic. The bulk erasers are very sticky, and the pens, don’t write well at all.
