HEADS UP: This offer is still working.  I seriously cannot believe it!  I don’t know when they will be ending it.  But it can be at any time without notice.

WOO-HOO!  The Salt Lake Papers just contacted me to let me know that you can can get a Full Year Subscription to the Weekend Editions of the Salt Lake Tribune or Deseret News for only $39!  (Normally $64!)  The weekend subscription includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday!  You can purchase multiple copies of the paper at this price too!

Getting multiple copies of the Sunday Paper is the way to really build up your Stockpile and Food Storage.  So when something is Free, you purchase multiples with your multiple coupons.  Then, store them away for when you run out. You will NEVER pay full price for items again!

This deals ends up being $.75 per paper! That’s crazy! If you want to get additional copies of the Sunday Paper, you can get up to 4 papers total at this price!

Friday, Saturday and Sunday: (52 Weeks)
Option #1:
1 Copy $39.00 (Limited Time Offer)
Option #2: 2 Copies $78.00 (Limited Time Offer)
Option #3: 3 Copies $117.00 (Limited Time Offer)
Option #4: 4 Copies $156.00 (Limited Time Offer)
**No E-Edition

Considering the normal price for a 6 month subscription is $37.00, you can see why an entire year for only $39 is killer!

This deal is available for New Subscribers to the Deseret News or Salt Lake Tribune OR for those who have a subscription looking to add more copies (for a total count of 4 per week).  So, if you have been holding off on getting the Coupon Inserts, this is definitely the time to get them!

To get this deal, you will have to pay the amount up-front. They will not do automatic billing. But, you can pay for the entire year up front and not worry about it!

**All orders for the Salt Lake Papers need to be placed by Wednesday at 10am to ensure  that your upcoming Sunday Paper arrives in time. And order placed after Wednesday at 10am will start a week later.

If you would like to Subscribe to any of the option listed above, please email me at melea@freebies2deals.com with the Subject Title of Newspaper Subscriptions. I will send you a secure and encrypted web form for you to submit your order to the Newspaper Agency.

  1. Do both papers give out the same coupons? Is there a better newspaper to get that does more coupons? I seem to only see SS in the Desseret News and rarely get the others.

    • They both will give out the same coupons. However, they dont have Red Plum coupons ever. But, you will get any Smart Source, P&G, and any extra inserts like Pepsi when they come out.

  2. I currently get 2 papers but my subscription runs out towards the end of next month. Could I still get this deal?

    • You would be able to add copies to your current subscription. However, you couldn’t extend your current subscription at the new rate. Hope that makes sense!

      • I want to get 2 papers at the new rate since I can add more copies, but would I have to renew my current subscription when it expires?

  3. My subscription ends next month also. If I add this subscription, does it start now and go for 1 year? I want to cancel my other subscription when it is up and just keep this deal for the next year. Does it work like that?

    • You can add an additional copy to your current subscription. The subscription you already have will renew for a higher rate, unless you cancel it.

  4. Do I have to get Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.. or can I just get the Sunday at that price?

    • This offer is for the weekend only. They have a Sunday only subscription, but it is the regular price.

  5. The lady at the newspaper stand at the Woman’s Expo assured me over and over again that for this price “it couldn’t be a 1-year subscription!” I told her several blogs that told about the deal, but she still didn’t believe me! She could only offer $50 for the year. Glad you know about all the best deals!

    • Thanks Kim! So glad I could get the deal for you guys too!

  6. I cancelled my paper and was waiting the 45 days to start a new subscription sine I was being charged way too much. I am still in the 45 waiting period. Do you have to wait the 45 days with this deal?

  7. So I currently only subscribe to one DN paper and through this deal I added 2 additional papers (one Trib and another DN) and I received 3 newspapers this week and only 2 Smartsource inserts. Do you think it will correct itself next week or should I call someone about it?

    • Definitely call, they will most likely run you one out today.

  10. Do you ever see deals like this for the Daily Herald? We live in Utah County and the ads are different than the ads in Salt Lake (different stores). Thanks!

  13. I need to start getting these, even just on Sundays. My mom lets me steal her coupons, but only after she cut out ones she wants, and sometimes those are ones that I’d take as well.

  15. Thanks Melea, I had a problem with the extra paper coming to me because I currently have 2 subscriptions that are full year everyday subscriptions. I also have 2 Weekend subscriptions and they were having a difficult time getting the new subscription to go. I contacted Melea and she was able to call them and get it all straightened out for me.
    THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!!!

  17. Thanks so much for posting this deal. I actually already get the paper, but it is expiring next month. I called and asked about the $39 promotion, and they let me do it even though I already am a customer. It can’t hurt to ask, and they were really nice to let me have that price!!!

  18. Melea–A while ago, I think this deal included the Standard Examiner. Is there still a deal for the Standard Examiner available? I haven’t had the best luck with the Deseret News.

    Reply
    • I dont have any deals with the Standard Examiner right now. I would call them up and see what their promotions are right now. Hopefully they have a good one.

  19. Do you have any deals for the Daily Herald? I really like the Red Plum inserts.

  20. I currently get the Spectrum down in St. George but would like to add another paper each week for additional coupons. We get the SS and Red Plum down here. Are you saying that no papers in SLC give out the Red Plum inserts? Or which papers give out which inserts?

    Reply
    • Only the Daily Herald gives out the Red Plum coupons each week. The deal that this is refering to is only for the two Salt Lake Papers (Deseret or Trib) and they don’t have Red Plum inserts- but get the rest of them.
