Hey everyone! Just a heads up that July is the time for Clearance. If you didn’t know, it’s the biggest time of the year that just about everything gets marked down and moved out to make room for the last three major Holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Right now, you should see anywhere from 30%-50% off signs at Target on their Summer Items, possibly even their Patio section and even Toys!
And, in about a week or two, the BIGGEST and most secret Toy Sale will happen!! The Semi-Annual Target Toy Sale usually happens around the last week of July. And, it doesn’t get advertised or announced. Just one day, you will see the big clearance signs go up and once word gets out, it is a mad house. But, you can get all of the SAME toys you will be searching for during Christmas time for 50%-75% off!! It’s one of those times you literally have to drop what you are doing and run over to Target once it starts.
But for now, you should see a bunch of awesome clearance prices on a lot of stuff as they make room for new inventory. So, it might be a worth a drive to see what is going on at your Target store!

In Queen Creek, AZ I’ve begun to see things on clearance in their outdoor which had very little left and the toy section had stuff a couple weeks ago but it was all the stuff that is pretty lame and no one probably wants anyway because they had way too much of it. I did also notice a lot of there home section had clearance.

Last year Melea mentioned that Utah Target stores wouldn’t have clearance…anybody able to confirm this?

Hey Jennifer, Target was using us Utah Folk as a test market. Here is the post I did last year: https://freebies2deals.com/2011/10/utah-readers-target-stores-undergoing-test.html But, I am guessing it didn’t go very well because I have seen my own Target stores go up to 90% off. So, they must have changed their minds or stopped using us a test market. Either way, good thing for us!!

i was at the centerville ut target yesterday, there was alot of summer clearance and alot of toys, mostly for boys. 🙂 i think they were all 30 percent off. 🙂

Fort Union, Ut had summer stuff 50-70% off .I got some cute LED lanterns for 6.00, and patio lights for 3.00. Not much in the toys and the rest of the summer stuff was pretty much gone. Glad I happened upon it though. I can get stuff I wouldn’t normally spend money on, but wish I had.
