It’s the last weekend in July… know what that means? The Semi-Annual Toy Sale is going to be starting at Target stores. Toys are marked up to 70% off, if your store has started.
Some stores may not have started yet. However, I have had people let me know that their stores have started TODAY!!! Sometimes we don’t get as much of a heads up about this- but I’ve been waiting and watching for them to start so I could share the news with you.
Many toys are marked 70% off! That means, you could stock up and get all of your kid’s shopping done for Christmas! How awesome would that be? And at 70% off, you would be able to get a TON of presents- whether they are for upcoming birthdays, or the Christmas season!
**If you are making a special trip just for the toy sale, call them up before you go just to make sure your store has started their 70% off Toy Clearance Sale. If they haven’t today, July 26th, more than likely they will have started it tomorrow!!

just called my target and the manager had no idea what I was talking about!

Sarah- That is really strange. All Targets across the Country do this sale… some just start a few days earlier or later depending on the store. I wonder if that manager is new???

I called the South Jordan Target on Tuesday, and the guy in the toy section told me 30% is as low as they ever go. I know I’ve seen things lower than that in the past, so maybe just that employee didn’t know.

The Jordan Landing one, Redwood Road one, and the one at the District all had their stuff 70% off. That guy didn’t know what he was talking about.
Krista
Did Jordan Landing or Redwood have anything good left?

I went to my local Target yesterday and got a TON for 70% off!

I was at American Fork this morning and the sale IS going on today!

This sale gives me such anxiety every year because every time I go there are ladies there with 2 or 3 cartfuls of stuff, who have cleaned off the shelves. It’s like a madhouse trying to get toys. Ugh! I decided this year it wasn’t even worth it. And by the way, Target doesn’t do 75% off anymore. They only go to 70% now. Not a huge deal, but just FYI.

Went to three different targets this year and they were doing it, but it wasn’t as impressive as years passed. I usually drop $100 in on store and I think between the 3 stores I maybe hit $50. Pretty sad. Didn’t help with guys who resell stuff and have 20 dolls in one cart and two carts full of boy stuff. Makes it tough on moms who actually need/want these deals for birthdays and Christmas without breaking the bank. So I was disappointed.

I went to the store in South Jordan, and there was hardly anything. I only bought a a few things.

The one in Provo/Orem area had nearly nothing left. On TUESDAY.
April
Ft Union Target in UT, had VERY little left

Just got back from my Target here in Colorado… there I was filling up a cart with 50% off toys (just so I would get some things I wanted before they were gone) and a toy department employee said they were continuing markdowns so she would reprice everything in my cart to 70% off, sweet! Even used a couple coupons.

Does anyone know if their inflatable pools are on sale? I get an intel one every year at the end of the season.

The web site clearance section of toys has some pretty amazing deals right now too.

Everything they have in the clearance section online is what they have in the store. I just spent an hour combing through my Target. A lot of it is junk but there are a few great deals. The legos were wiped out though.

Sounds very hit and miss. One year I hit it on the day they marked down to 75% on accident and scored my son’s entire birthday haul for under $40, but that was 2 years ago and I haven’t found anything worth buying since then. Probably won’t bother this year since there are always a TON of great toy deals close to Christmas on Amazon (which means I usually over-buy for my kids). I’m really trying not to do that this year. Hope some of you score some great deals though!

Our Hanover, PA Target was marking toys down yesterday when I arrived to check things out. Got some smaller items super-cheap!! Thanks for the heads-up!

After visiting three different Targets yesterday afternoon. I’m happy to report I scored 24 items for less than $225.00. (Regular price excluding taxes woould have been $550+) My son (his friends and Toys for Tots) will have the best birthday and Christmas ever this year.
Thank you!!!
Meredin
By the time I got to the AF Target yesterday there wasn’t much left, I was able to get one boy toy for either Toys for Tots or a birthday. I also was able to get 2 princess wands for my daughters for Christmas but that was it. I was really hoping I would have found something for my daughters first birthday this fall. Wish I could have gotten out the door much earlier yesterday.

I went to Warner Robins, Ga Target and was asked by manager if I was trying to get a head start on Christmas when I asked if the toys were marked down to 70 % as he was opening the door last Thursday. The clerks in the toy dept said they did not know what I was talking about and didn’t know of a yearly sale. They said their huddle did not tell them to mark anything down. The sale sign said 30 %. I scanned a few items and they were all full price. That night there were posts the sale was on. The next day, Friday, I stopped in Macon ,Ga., and was told “the sale was yesterday” I was also told “they picked a few toys and marked just those down” The shelves were fairly well stocked w/ toys and there were 30% sale signs. I again scanned toys and they were full price. Does anyone know if Ga even does this??? I had really hoped to get some toys.
