Right now on their Facebook page Staples has an offer where you can get 2 FREE Sharpies with the purchase of their 15% Savings Pass for $10. This savings pass could come in good use if you’re in need of some big ticket items, not to mention you”ll also score two free sharpies.
Here are a few of the things the savings pass is good towards:
- Boards and Easels
- Calendars & Organizers CDs, DVDs
- Desk Lamps and Accessories
- Desk sets and organizers, plastic desk trays, desk pads, rolodex
- Media labels, mailing labels, copier/dot matrix labels, badges, lanyards
- Facilities Supplies
- Filing
- Locker accessories
- Shipping and Mailing Supplies
- Corrugated boxes, padded mailing envelopes, packing tape, bubble wrap
- Storage and Organization
- Teaching and Education Supplies
Here’s a complete list of the items that the 15% can be applied towards.
I just want to mention again that this pass is only really beneficial if you are purchasing a big ticket item, or a few big ticket items. If you are only purchasing a few small items, paying $10 for a 15% savings won’t be worth it. If you have students in the upper grades though who need more expensive things, this pass could really help you out.
**Fine Print: The Savings Pass is valid through August 4th and it can be used multiple times across multiple transactions until that date.

I bought this yestereday. I did get 15% off kleenex and toilet paper too. I bought 1 pack of TP, a 4 pack of Puffs and all the rest was the 1cent $1 and free after rebate items. I saved over $3 on this trip alone. My card is good through September 15th too – so I’m sure I will save at least $7 more over the next couple of months. I go weekly and get the best deals.

$66.67 is the total amount you’d need to spend to recoup your $10

Thursday, 7.12.12, I shopped at the Riverton, Ut Staples. After my items were rung up, it totaled over $60. The check out lady then told me they were having a special since I spent over a certain amount, that I could purchase the card for $1!!! After she rang up the 15% card for $10, she had a coupon for $9 off the coupon…hence paid $1 for the coupon. Saved over $9 off the bill….take away the $1 for the card, I saved $8. Don’t know if this was just a special that day, but worth asking about.
