I learned something new recently and I wanted to share it with you! Did you know that Disney will replace your broken or scratched DVDs and Blu-Rays??
Even though we get deals on most of them, kids can easily break or scratch DVDs on a regular basis. And, instead of going out and purchasing a brand new one for full-price, Disney has a way to help us all out!
If you need to replace a broken or scratched DVD or Blu-ray, you can get a brand new copy for $6.95 for per DVD and $8.95 for per Blu-ray disc!
Just head to the Disney Disc Replacement Program page and follow the directions. You will need to fill out the form they link you to and include everything on their list. And, voila, in a few weeks, you will have a brand new DVD or Blu-ray back in your possession!
***One replacement per title per year.

So excited because my Little Mermaid DVD won’t play, and you can’t buy it in stores. Also, Walmart now converts your movies to digital for only about $3 per movie!! Great for upcoming roadtrips 🙂

Thank you! I had no idea they did this! I’ve also heard that if you DVDs are just a little scratched or skipping you can wipe them with a vinegar solution and that might help them play better 🙂

I had heard about this but, didn’t know if it was true. The other thing that is nice is that if you enter the code on your Disney Movie Rewards then you have an option to purchase the ability to Stream your movies on your devices. I haven’t tried it yet but, it sounds like a pretty good deal.
