The lights for this brand do light up the room ok but if you are planning to get it because of the music DONT. It is sooo loud and the speaker is where you cannot get to it and tape it to turn it down. Also they play songs that sound like there from titanic and some kind of chinese music. would not reccomend it even that cheap

I second the motion. The music is annoyingly loud, there’s no volume anywhere. How can you put a kid to sleep when the music is irritating, one of the music sounds like toilet flushing instead of an ocean waves sound and yes, u’re right ,titanic sound too! lol. I got this no name brand turtle last week from dealfind and would not recommend it, never thought that it will come straight from China in the city of Fujian. I’m just lucky the light works, for how long?

I would spend a little bit more and buy the cloud b ones. All my kids have the cloud b ones and the quality is great! They all love them.

I agree we bought this for all three of my kids for Christmas and the projection is blury and the music is SO load!!! You think one is bad wait until all three are playing! Lol don’t buy this even of it is cheep u want one I have three for you:)

I learned this last xmas time. It is a horrible knock off and the music is scary. The buttons do not work well the lights are very pretty but I would have spent the extra few dollars on the name brand. I agree it does sound like Asian music there is one song that i guess is supposed to be like thunder it actually sounds like a gun shot.

These are junk, I purchased two and one had something loose banging around inside of it and it almost immediately quit working. And the music is loud on the one that does work and had to keep playing with the batteries to have it work at all. They should not sell knock-off products for the real thing. I also was surprized that they came straight out of China and were poorly packaged. Not the quality of the one I purchased at Amazon.com.
