You can get these on the Melissa & Doug website for $4.99. Seems like Amazon is doing this a lot lately – pretending to give a huge discount on some unreasonable “retail” price.

I have ordered these as gifts on amazon many times and they are always around the price listed above so I wouldn’t worry too much about stocking up. I would think you could get them whenever you need them for around this price.
