If you are a Facebook follower of Freebies2Deals, you probably have seen me say that I’ve been trying to stay away from Pinterest. I just didn’t feel like I had the time. Well, what I really mean is shouldn’t be spending more time online. haha.
Well, after hearing about all of the awesome things that my readers and friends have found on Pinterest, I decided it was time to join yesterday.
I’ve created my own Pinterest Account for Freebies2Deals. There will be pins there for stuff related to couponing and deals and even stuff that I personally like. So, if you didn’t already feel like we are best friends and know everything there is to know about me… you will now. 😉
So come Join Freebies2Deals on Pinterest and Follow Me! (We will probably have a big giveaway for Pinterest users soon too) If you don’t have a Pinterest account, you can request an invite here. Or, if you have a friend who currently uses Pinterest, have them email you a personal invite so you can get started asap.
I can’t wait for you guys to start following myself and Freebies2Deals! It will be awesome to see all of the great ideas you have pinned so I can re-pin them myself!

You are going to love it. I can’t believe how addicting it is. I have to limit myself on how often I log on, b/c there is so much to look at. Tons of great ideas though, I’ve gotten inspiration for gifts, things for my kids to do, recipes, and of course, ways to save money!

Welcome to the club!

the bad side is…once again…if you don’t have a Facebook account you miss out. I am getting so tired of
everything in today’s society linked to Facebook….Facebook for coupons, facebook for apps. facebook for contests, etc. I personally refuse to join Facebook. Does everyone really need to know when you take your
dog for a walk or when you are going to the store or what you are having for dinner??? Just a thought.

Hey Sally, Just so you know, I had to create my account with a FB account, but then I un-linked it. So, you could create a quick FB page without any information on it just to link to Pinterest to get an account and then unlink like I did. 🙂

Hi Sally,
I also do not have a Facebook account & do not wish to sign up for one either.
However, I do have a Pinterest account. How did I get around the loop hole?
I signed up for a Twitter account, then signed up for a Pinterest account using my Twitter account & THEN the next day I cancelled my Twitter account & Wa-La! Hello Pinterst. Hope this helps Ü

I am VERY anti-facebook, seems like its all gossip and backbiting from a bunch of people from high school, however, I also felt like i was missing out on so much with coupons and giveaways. So, i finally set up a face book with my married name only, put NO personal info on my page at all, and made it completely private. I have not “friended” anyone, so no one has found me. I use it strictly for pinterest reasons and give aways/coupons. I have had zero issues with it, and being able to have a pinterest account makes in 100% worth it!!
