Kroger is running a deal on Proctor & Gamble (P&G) products this week where when you purchase 4 participating P&G products, you will receive $4.00 off instantly at checkout.
Plus, they are also running a promotion on top of that that will help you save an additional $4.00!
To take advantage of this second promotion you will need to add 4 P&G coupons to your shopping card online through their coupon database & tell a friend about the promotion. Once you have shared the promotion with a friend, Kroger will automatically load the additional $4.00 to your card!
Then, when you are in a Smith’s or Kroger grocery store, purchase any 4 participating P&G products and the extra $4.00 that was loaded onto your card will come off automatically at checkout, plus you will get the advertised $4.00 off for purchasing 4 participating products as well!
That means in one transaction you will save $8.00 off the purchase of 4 participating P&G products! Talk about a great deal!

I read once quite a while ago that the coupons you could load on your card were manufactures coupons and you should not also use clipped coupons. Is that correct??

This is pretty great! Just one question: Can the additional $4 off be applied to anything other than P&G products? The four items I’m interested in will only come to $4.73 after coupons, so the additional $4 won’t do much good unless I can apply it to the rest of my non P&G transaction.

I didn’t see the Herbal Essence products in my Smith’s digital coupons. Also, it states that didital coupon may only be used on ONE like item and MAY NOT be combine with paper maufacurers coupons.. hmm. i don’t think i am going to make this deal work.

@Ashley, The Herbal Essence coupon is in the P&G coupon insert that comes in the Sunday newspaper. This one came on 1/1. You can’t use the digital tide coupon and then use a paper coupon for the same product. But you can buy 2 and use one digital and one paper one. I hope that makes sense.

Ok so if I buy 2 tide detergents at 5.99 each. Then use (2) $2/1 paper coupons so that makes them 3.99 each. then the stores $4/4 deal so that makes them 2.99 each
Then I get 2 herbal essences @ 2.79 each. and use (2) $1/1 paper coupons that makes them 1.79 each
and then the store deal makes them .79 each.
I can still use the coupon I just loaded onto my card the $4/4 P&G on top of these deals? making the herbal essences free and the tide for just 1.99?
Thanks for the help..I just want to know if thats going to work since all of the them are P&G coupons including the digital one.

Oh and my other question is ( I’ve never couponed at Smith’s before) do you give them the Store card or coupons first? I’m just a little worried that if I give them the card first, it will take that $4 digital coupon off and then it won’t take my paper coupons. I hope my questions make sense. Thanks!
