Keep in mind that Gift Certificates are printable and you can print them off right after your purchase to give as a gift. But, if you want something a little nicer, go with a Gift Card. With a Gift Certificate, you choose the Restaurant and the deal will be valid for 1 year. But, with a Gift Card, you will give the recipient control over which Restaurant.com Gift Certificate they personally purchase with the gift card.
**If you haven’t purchased a Restaurant.com Gift Certificate before, this is how it works. Each restaurant will have different fine print. Some will have a minimum purchase required or a specific day that you can eat.
If the fine print says that you have to spend at least $25 in order to use your Restaurant.com Gift Certificate, think if you would have already spent that amount normally on the people who are eating. If you do, then it is a great buy. You can purchase your discounted Gift Certificate, and not worry about meeting the minimum requirements, because you know you already will.

Wow!! Went online only to receive error message more than once. So, I tried to call. The line disconnected 6 times in a row. Either, they were really busy or what a crock.

People don’t panic. The deal is good through December 24th. They have an error message on the website because it’s getting so slammed. Wait until tomorrow. I bet it will be WAY less crazy.
