I got Kohls Cash for the first time and wanted to use it last week. However, I was disappointed to learn how it works when you also have a percent-off coupon: e.g. total purchase is $50. If I use a 20% off coupon, the total drops to $40. But if you are paying with Kohls Cash (e.g. $30), the KC is subtracted from the total FIRST, then you get 20% off the remainder. Total cost would be $50- $30KC = $20. $20 less 20% = $16. If calculated the way I had hoped, I would have paid only $10.
(Still a good price for $50 of merchandise, but IMHO Kohls has a huge markup on mediocre quality clothing, for which I would never pay full-price anyway.)
