Update: Looks like amazon has already addressed this issue and will honor all rebates submitted! (Thanks Kirsten!)
It has been brought to my attention that Amazon has changed the rebate link on the Kitchen Aid Professional 6 Quart Mixer Deal I posted about on Cyber Monday.
On that deal, they did have a link to a rebate that was to be used on that mixer. (Or, it woudn’t have been there to begin with.) However, Amazon has now changed that to say that the previously available rebate is not valid on those two mixers- after a bunch of you have purchased it.
So, what do you do?
If you purchased one of these deals with the intent on sending in the $50 Rebate, you will want to contact Amazon and let them know you are disappointed that they changed the rebate and explain that was the reason you had purchased to begin with. You never know, they might be able to offer you something or make it up to you to fix the mistake on their part. I’m sure it was an honest mistake and from my experience Amazon is usually pretty accomodating when they make mistakes. Let us know how it goes!

I spoke with an Amazon rep before buying and he said it was being honored. I guess I will just return 🙁

They put a statement on Amazon when it was being offered that it was indeed included on those models.
Here is a link to the information about it:
