Now that Black Friday has hit, the deals will be coming left and right on Amazon. They not only have deals all over their site, but they also have time-sensitive deals that will be starting every few hours.  They are called Lightning Deals and I mentioned them over the weekend.

Check out the main Black Friday/Cyber Monday page.  That is where all of the Lightning Deals will be showing. You will want to check them At Least ONCE A DAY!  I can’t stress that enough.  There were many times last year I forgot to check them quickly in the morning and missed out on items I had on my Christmas list.  So, I had to do more work later trying to find them on sale somewhere else. Now, I check them a few times a day…each time I get online. You will want to bookmark these Amazon Lightning Pages I found right now before you forget:

Lightning Deals start on the hour or every two hours… depending on the category.  Think of them as mini daily deals.  They have an allotted number to sell and the first people to add them to their cart and then checkout within 15 minutes will get them.  If someone adds it to their cart and then doesn’t check out within 15 minutes, anyone who requested to be on the waitlist will get a message from Amazon letting them know they can claim it instead.

On top of these great deals, you can get FREE Shipping with Amazon Prime.  If you didn’t sign up for Amazon Mom before the spaces filled up, you have two options.  You can either sign up for Free Amazon Student OR, you can do a 1 Month Free Trial of Amazon Prime.  You will just want to cancel that one before your month is up, or it will charge you $79.

  4. Megan that only happens if you click on item instead of add to cart button in lightning deal window. My husband almost lost our Xbox kinect because he clicked item and not add to cart button in the lightning deals window luckily we got waitlisted and still got one. Stephanie were you logged or signed into ur account already? That is my tip then its 2 clicks and I’m checked out.
