  1. You failed to mention that by signing up under you link you amass friends and get free stuff…very sneaky…

    • Sneaky would be more like coming and posting something negative without being able to post your name!! I would like to know where the rule is posted that says:
“IF YOU POST A LINK FOR THOUSANDS TO BENEFIT FROM……YOU MUST NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL REFERRAL LINK! HEAVEN FORBID YOU GET SOMETHING FOR YOUR EFFORT!!!” 😉

  2. How else would she make money from blogging. Duh. This benefits both Melea and everyone who follows her! She deserves to get paid for how much work she puts into posting all these deals for all of us! If you don’t like it, don’t look at the site!

  3. Bloggers should state that they benefit from the referrals in their posts. It is more honest. It builds trust with their readership.

There are more reasonable responses than “If you don’t like it, don’t look at the site.”

  4. Yep, I can accumulate possible free items.. but if you check the past No More Rack posts I have done, I gave them all away to Freebies2Deals readers. So it would be nice to get the chance to do that again. Or, give the cheap items as part of our Secret Santa Project If you dont want to use my link, you can go to No More Rack directly and get signed up. And as always, my disclosure policy is located at the bottom of Freebies2Deals if there are those of you who want to read it. Thanks!! 🙂

    • This is the only site I check everyday, even more than Facebook! Lol through reading F2D posts I have saved sooooo much money!!! And that gives me the ability to buy more good deals when I see them. I signed up for nomorerack through this site, AND posted it on my own Facebook to earn rewards too. And you better believe I sign up for the giveaways, which are MANY. Thank you for such good deal finding, it makes my life and shopping much easier!!

    • I think that what you do is great!!! There is nothing sneaky about having people sign up and getting free gifts, that is what the referral links are about. A lot of companies do it and therefore it isn’t sneaky. The one thing that I love about this site is that you do give back. Not only to the people who read your blog but, to the community. You are an honest, good person who has blessed many peoples lives by sharing your knowledge. Thank you.

      • Doesn’t saying “by clicking on my referral link you helped us earn 2 free xbox systems” count as stating that? It is pretty clear to me that we are helping her get deals and also give to charity… no problem with that from me! Start your own blog and learn from Melea! You can earn sweet stuff too. Melea rocks! I really want that ipad 2 and the tv… I’ll SOOO be on the look out for them!

  5. I dont think it’s sneaky, at all! In fact I agree that these bloggers should be compensated some how. I will post this link on my facebook so I get credit if anyone signs up. Years ago these sites charged a monthly fee to have access and now, they are all free, they should be rewarded somehow for the time spent! Thanks Melea for all your hard work !

  6. Seriously?? I can’t believe people (KN and H, obviously not even using their first names) would even say anything like that. Melea does all the work of finding US good deals every day and she should get compensated somehow for that! Geez…Well I’m grateful to you, Melea! I look on your site several times a day and save tons of money because of you. You help me to stay within our monthly budget while making sure my 3 kids have all they need.

  9. Has anyone ever ordered anything from this site, because I was excited when I first read the post, but as I always do I did a little researching and all I’ve seen from a dozen different unrelated sites are complaints from customers ranging from broken items, knock-offs or just plain never having received anything, but still being the charged. The only reproach these people had was to dispute the charge with their processor, I’d love to check this periodically but I’m afraid it could be a scam.

    • I’ve ordered a few small items (purses, pet brushes, ipod accessories) and had no problems at all! I will definitely be trying to get one of these deals! 🙂

      Reply
    • I’ve ordered from them before with no issues. Sometimes shipping takes awhile, but not always. I trust them from my own personal experience.

And yay everyone for standing up for Melea, especially given that she lets us post our referral links too!

      Reply
    • I’ve only ordered from them once. Shipping took FOREVER (I think about 6 weeks) and I had to contact customer service several times, but I did get what I paid for and overall was happy with my experience. Just be prepared for long shipping times, in case you encounter the same thing I did.

      Reply
    • I have ordered from them twice in the past two months. Both orders took FOREVER to get here and were the worst quality products known to man. I’m talking worse than dollar store stuff. IMHO, $60 isn’t worth it for a completed busted 51 inch t.v. On a good note tho, they were very fast to address the issues and refund my money (after I paid to have them shipped back and provided them with all kinds of proof of purchase…they did pay the return shipping eventually). In conclusion, the only way to get legit “insanity deals” is to go black friday shopping with all of the other psychos. lol! good luck!

Thanks Malea!! See ya on Thursday for New Moon. Tomorrow is my birthday and I can’t WAIT until it’s gone and over with so it can be Thursday! 🙂

  11. Nothing sneaky at all about using her link. You are more than welcome to start your own site and use your link if you don’t like it. Bloggers put in more than 40 hours per week on their sites, of course they should be compensated and it doesn’t cost a reader anything to access all of this great info.

  12. I just went to register with the site and it seems a bit fishy to me… I don’t really think I trust that you can get an IPAD for 40 bucks…. anyone actually get one at that price from this site??? Seems weird to me, so I’m hesitant

    Reply
    • Don’t trust them. I believed I would get some smoking deals, spent the money and then, they sent an e-mail saying they didn’t have the items and they would give me credit for other “junk”. I wasted my time and I could have been doing something of value like serving someone. Sorry so strong but, it was a real experience and I feel bad people are trusting them.

  15. For those who don’t believe this or are wondering if this site is reliable…from my own personal experience; YES. 🙂 I have bought several items and have been happy with each purchase (one being the best dog grooming tool I’ve found yet for just dollars!). As for the Insanity Deals, just like any other good deal on the net, you have to be FAST at getting to them. First come, first serve….and with my luck I am not getting too excited, but I definitely have been refreshing the page when possible! 😉 Doesn’t hurt to try at least!! Good luck to those who try!!! (Also, to those complaining about the link given being a referral link, um — in case you haven’t noticed — just about EVERY blog, site, page, etc…uses THEIR referral link for these deals. In most cases, the readers/followers get the free items anyway. Even if they do keep a freebie they’ve earned….good!! They earned it by giving you the info how to get to the deals…they deserve that little “gift”!) 🙂 Thanks for the post by the way….I am going to refresh again, LMAO!

I decided to try a transaction to see if the secure status would change and it did not. As a matter of fact, I got a notification from one of my softwares (making sure my sites are secure) that it IS NOT SECURE. Do you know anything about this??

  29. I had a terrible experience with this company! Also,I thought I’d check it out today. I refreshed my browser and at the moment a smokin’ deal came out, it was already sold out. They have a sister company bidrack…after spending money on bids, and then winning the same high ticket items listed for these deals, they sent me an email saying they didn’t have the items and they would refund my bids. the following items after the e-mail that could be bid for was a bunch of junk and no-name items, some of which you could buy at the dollar store. I believe this promotion is a gimmick to get website hits or people to sign up for e-mails. I do not trust them one bit! Don’t waste your time.

  32. Just want to make you all aware that the NoMoreRack website was hacked in the middle of the night & credit card info was compromised. The “Addicted to Saving” blog (addictedtosaving.com) says that NoMoreRack reported on Facebook earlier that this occurred, but that they have now removed that update & are deleting negative messages from facebook users. Apparently, scans of customer’s credit cards were being posted to Facebook. Sounds like from a previous commenter, their ordering was not too secure to begin with.

    • I heard about this as well. But, I haven’t been able to confirm exactly what has happened. I dont want to give information that isn’t completely accurate. If you only created an account to help us get our Secret Santa donations, you should be fine since no CC info was entered. But, if you have purchased something from them in the past, you might want to be watching your CC for unauthorized use- IF the rumors are true about them being hacked.

    • I have been wondering the same thing! Because the same thing keeps happening to me. By the time I click it… it says they are sold out UGH!

Please someone post if you were able to snag one of these insanity deals… please! I have been trying for about a week now… and each time I click over to “snag it”, the site tells me there aren’t any more.

      I’m wondering if I’m just being a “sucker” here….

    • They have ads for a separate bidding site, but that’s not the Insanity Deals. The Insanity Deals are on the site for a few minutes only, and they are actually BUYS. I don’t know how legit they are, though.

  36. HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY SNAGGED AN INSANITY DEAL??
I did refreshing over & over as well. Every time a deal pops up & you try to snag it immediately, it’s sold out, of course. I think the INSANITY deal is just that, INSANE to force us to refresh over & over for no good reason! I doubt anyone actually scores the mysteriously unavailable INSANITY deal! Don’t waste your time like I did!

  38. Heads up friends. After trying to get some black friday deals… per the suggestion of other facebook comments, I researched them via just a regular google search — there are law firms advertising to help people get their money back (reminds me of that cyber rebate fiasco a few years ago). Please do a simple search BEFORE you give them your credit card info. I really really hope that they are legit…but I hate the thought of anyone getting scammed, especially when there are so many of us “hurting” with the economy and all. We are all here trying to find legitimate “deals”…not get prayed upon. Happy Turkey Day everyone! Hope it was a great day for you all.

    • yes, me too. Actually it was fine this morning, now it keeps saying malware blocked. Thought it might have something to do with just switching over to Avast anti-virus. What anti-virus program are you using?

      • I also use Avast. I wonder if it is because of the problem nomorerack had the other day with account info. being compromised. I use Avast because of it’s constant updates and because it is free. I wonder if nomorerack fixed the problem and Avast just hasn’t undated their update yet?

  44. Melea,

BIDRACK is the sister company of NO MORE RACK. As my compaint was filed through NO MORE RACK. It is my understanding that a class action lawsuit has been filed against BIDRACK for scamming people. I myself am still waiting for my refund and it’s been 6 months now. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they lied to the BBB as well. BIDRACK informed them that they were going to send me a check and that was 3 months ago.

BBB’s response today after I refiled the complaint: We closed your case “unresolved” and the complaint will become a part of the firm’s file with BBB.

With any complaint, you have the option of pursuing the matter legally. To pursue your complaint with Delaware State Courts at https://courts.delaware.gov

Today I have been refreshing all the time but in 2 weeks its the first time to come across Insanity deals! Ive seen 5 so far today (But i think they are only giving out 1 at a time) AWESOME and now til the 5th they will be doing INSANITY vacations for $6!

  46. Just so everyone knows, nomorerack has put reCaptcha on the Insanity Deals to prevent bots. HOWEVER even if you are lucky enough to be on their site the very second an Insanity deal comes up and get the purchase screen to come up, there is NO way to get past the reCaptcha code. I have used reCaptcha literally thousands of times without a problem on other sites, but amazingly the reCaptcha on nomorerack NEVER accepts a code so you can buy an Insanity Deal. I put in over 40 answers on three different Insanity Deals without one being accepted. The Insanity Deals are a SCAM unfortunately. Even nomorerack customer service dodged the issue when I brought it to their attention

As you are already aware, we have implemented captcha to ensure no bots purchase the Insanity Deals. It is of a very high value to us and we have been scammed by bots multiple times in the past. The CAPTCHA present on our site are absolutely genuine and there have been many winners of our insanity deals, who have also posted on our Facebook page.
