My Walmart (Midvale, UT) wouldn’t honor the $5 coupon since the price of the item was only $5. Anyone else have an issue with that?

The ones I bougt were not full size bottles. which I think are 34oz.(I got 1oz size).I went to 2 different Walmarts .In fact they rang up the full (34oz) size ones and they were $25.00 for sure not on clearance!!!!! So I grabbed the 1oz size.Which were $5.00.But not one of them had coupons on them..My question is……..did I get screwed on this deal?Or did it get posted wrong?

I went to the walmart here in Sandy, Utah. They did honor the coupons with the $5.00 perfume, However I went to grab more and noticed all the bottles were gone. I asked customer service and they said they took them off the shelf for now, they didn’t like it being free. Since then I have gone to 3 other walmarts (fort union, west jordan, and taylorsville and they all have been removed from the shelf too.) I think now this deal might be dead.

I don’t understand why walmart would take the perfumes off the shelves. This shouldn’t be allowed! Walmart is NOT losing any money. They are getting their money back from the manufacturer. I would like to know where I can talk to someone about these complaints. The managers at the store don’t want to help sometimes. So I think I have to talk with someone from the corporate offices. I had a coupon and their system wouldn’t accept it. I called a manager and he didn’t help much. I think they don’t understand the idea of coupons. I believe their system was malfunctioning but the manager wouldn’t accept the coupon manually either. Now I have some homework to do to get to the bottom of this. We as consumers have rights!
