Utah Readers: FREE Ride at Snowbird Ski Resort!

Update: Do to some maintenance problems, this event is being delayed until October 29th & 30th. Please watch their site for further details and/or changes.  

Snowbird’s annual Customer Appreciation Days Event  starts this weekend.

With the donation of a personal care item, can of food or $3 donation to Wasatch Adaptive Sports, you can ride either Snowbird’s Peruvian chairlift or its aerial tram for FREE. Please note, it is one free ride per donation. So if you have 5 people in your family, you will need to donate 5 items.

**Free rides with donation are available during this event on any  Saturday or Sunday from October 15th through November 6th.  Rides will be offered from 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

  2. The web site says that the opening weekend is Oct 29-30 and it will run through November 5-6.

  3. But on their calendar it shows this weekend. So maybe call before you go-to verify.

    Customer Appreciation Days is a food drive for the Utah Food Bank. Guests may donate cans of food or make a $3 donation to Wasatch Adaptive Sports at the ticket window in exchange for a Tram pass valid during the weekends of October 29 – 30 and November 5 – 6. Also, enjoy free admission to the Ropes Course, the Bungy Trampoline and Kids’ Inflatables

  5. They are open this weekend and next but only for the 3 activities. There is too much snow still for the tram to run, so you will be given a free pass for the tram when it reopens the end of October. I called them and you can also at 801-742-2222. Hope this helps!
