What does it mean when you say P&G? I am not sure how to get this deal.

Abby – P&G is the Procter & Gamble Coupon insert that came in the Sunday newspaper on the date listed. It’s a coupon insert that comes out once a month.
Hope that helps you.
Abby
thank you that helps

That seems a bit shifty! It clearly states in big red letters on the coupon this is kind of piggy backing is not allowed. “one coupon per purchase of quantities stated.”. I just started reading your blog do you always tell people how to cheat the system?
Melea Johnson
Hey Donna,
You can use one coupon per item. The BOGO Coupon is for the free item. And, the $2.00 off coupon is for the item you are purchasing. Technically, you are allowed to do both. And most coupon policies will state that that is ok. If there is some weird fine print stating otherwise on the coupon, let me know as this deal was sent to me by a Freebies2Deals reader. But, just as a FYI “one coupon per purchase of quantities state” means that you can only use one coupon per item. Not total. Hope that helps

There’s this thing called credibility. If you do something well, people will expect you to continue doing well and that includes being honest and providing the best information possible. Sometimes deal mistakes happen, but most bloggers fix and update the problem immediately. In this case, there’s nothing wrong with the deal; I’ve been couponing for a long time and habitually knew that the BOGO was for the free and the 2.00 was for the purchased item.
You come storming in with accusations and slashes to her credibility, while admitting that you’re a new reader to her blog. You should probably just focus on reading.
Donna
Contact p&g. As per them “One coupon per purchase per items specified means one NOT two coupons on the buy one get one free.” Not so new to the site to know past video showing how to decode a coupon and not new to ethical coupon use at all.

Thank you so much!! I am loving this deal! This is the only kind that I use!!

just wondering if im crazy but my pg coupon is only for 1.00? do the pg inserts vary depending on where u live? thanks!
Freebies2Deals
Yes the amounts can vary by Region, so different area’s will receive different coupon values.
Daneille
thank you! i still used my b1g1 and the 1.00 off coupon and the cashier had no problem! thanks for sharing that coupon scenario, i was not aware of it!
Lindsey
Hi,
I am the reader who emailed Melea about the deal and I can assure you that my Walmart had no problem with me using both coupons. I went on two different occassions and had different cashiers at checkout and both cashiers knew exactly what to do with the coupons and did not think it was shifty. The Walmart coupon policy says one coupon per item. As Melea explained, the B1G1 Free coupon is for the free item, and the $2.00 coupon is for the one you pay for. I strongly support honest and ethical couponing, and I would not support a transaction I thought was dishonest. I just thought other people might appreciate knowing about the good deal I got because I get so excited when I see good deals on this site.

Thanks! I loved this deal!

I tried this today at the PG walmart and they wouldn’t do both coupons, said it was stacking, that I would have to buy 3 boxes

I’m pretty sure the common couponer has made a BOGO purchase and used a coupon on the one they were buying at Walgreens, CVS, and other stores as well. This one isn’t an issue; it’s just because it’s at Walmart. People have been using this combo for CVS shopping for years until the new coporate policy put a halt to it. If you can’t bring yourself to get the deal there, then go to another store where you’ve done the BOGO before and never questioned it. I personally hate shopping at Walmart and think these might actually be cheaper at my local Target so I’m going to do the deal there.

I just checked the target policy and it states that you cant use a b1g1f and a cents off unless one of them is a target coupon. So I guess what it boils down to is if the cashier will let you because they don’t know the policy. The Walmart policy doesn’t say you cant use both but it doesn’t say you can either. Just thought I’d mention that
